'I will make my sister-in-law my bride...', brother-in-law climbed the tower, kept reciting this refrain for hours, police had to be called

Vaishali News: A strange case has come to light from Vaishali district of Bihar. Here the father of two children climbed the mobile tower on the insistence of marrying his own sister-in-law. This drama that took place in Dharampur Ram Rai Panchayat of Chandpura police station area left the police and local administration in a tizzy. After hours of hard work and patience, the young man could be brought down safely. According to the information received, Raj Kumar Sharma (father – Jaga Sharma), resident of Dharampur Ram Rai village, was having a love affair with his sister-in-law for a long time.

Raj Kumar was married 11 years ago and is the father of two children. The interesting and surprising thing is that his sister-in-law is also married and has children. Raj Kumar was adamant on marrying his sister-in-law. Said- Now I will make my sister-in-law my bride. When the family members protested against this, he climbed a tall mobile tower located in the village and started threatening to commit suicide by jumping from there.

'Get married to your sister-in-law'

As soon as information about the incident was received, police from Desri and Chandpura police stations reached the spot. The young man was sitting on the upper height of the tower and also had a mobile phone. When the police called his number and asked him to get down, he made a demand in blunt words - Get me married to my sister-in-law, only then I will get down. The villagers and policemen standing below kept explaining to him, but he remained adamant on his insistence for hours. A huge crowd of local people was seen capturing this scene in their mobile cameras.

Rescue after hours of effort

The police and villagers acted very wisely. After a long drama and assurance of safety, the young man's anger subsided and he slowly came down. The police immediately took him into custody and took him to the police station for questioning.

Trend of 'tower' love in Vaishali?

The surprising thing is that this is the second such incident in Vaishali within a week. Last Monday too, a girl had climbed a 400 kilo volt high-tension electricity tower near Mehnar Station Road in the insistence of marrying her lover. Videos of both these incidents are becoming increasingly viral on social media and are becoming a topic of discussion in the area.
