Recently, a sight was seen in Chonburi province of Thailand, which surprised people and also made them laugh. Usually, the speed of cars, trucks and bikes is seen on the highway, but this time the story was a little different. Here a huge ostrich was seen racing with the vehicles in the middle of the road. Imagine, you are going somewhere comfortably in your car and suddenly a big bird running at high speed in the lane parallel to yours leaves you behind – something like this happened here.
According to media reports, this incident happened on Tuesday, when a male ostrich, about 6 months old, named B1, came out of his living place and went straight to the highway. It was not an ordinary bird, but was about 6 feet tall and quite agile. As soon as he came on the road, he started running at high speed without stopping. The vehicles moving on the road started slowing down their speed, because no one could understand what had happened suddenly.
This scene was completely unexpected for the drivers on the highway. Some people got scared at first, they thought that perhaps there was an accident ahead, that is why the traffic had slowed down. But as they moved ahead, they saw that the matter was different. An ostrich was running at full speed between the vehicles, as if it was part of a race.
Meanwhile, 33-year-old Chairat Sompong was also passing through the same route. He told that when he saw a traffic jam like situation ahead, he felt that some serious accident must have happened. But when they came closer, their surprise knew no bounds. An ostrich was seen running on the road ahead. This scene was so unique that they could not stop laughing.
Chairat immediately took out his mobile and started recording this entire incident. While making the video, he jokingly said, Hey brother, whose ostrich is this roaming on the road? Take him quickly, he is running very fast. Along with surprise, amusement was also clearly visible in his voice.
Chairat showed wisdom in handling the situation. He slowly turned his car in such a way that the ostrich moved towards the side of the road. Eventually he moved towards the left lane and stopped there. In this way a potential danger was averted and no major accident occurred. Now the question arises that how did this ostrich reach the road? Actually, B1 lives in an animal-themed cafe in Pattaya, where he is housed with his partner B2. Cafe owner Itsara Boriboon explained the reason behind this incident. He said that that day a truck had come to the cafe to bring construction material. The ostrich got scared due to the loud noise and movement of the truck.
Due to fear, B1 crossed his enclosure and ran away. In fear and panic he kept running without stopping and in no time reached the highway. After reaching there, he started running with his full strength, which continued for about 15 kilometers. The cafe owner told that he had bought this ostrich about five months ago. Its price was around 15,000 Bhat i.e. around 38 thousand rupees in Indian currency. It was a special attraction of his café, so he was very upset when it ran away.
