America-Iran peace talks: Talks will be held in Pakistan, JD Vance will lead the team, date decided

A big update has come out on the talks between America and Iran. White House Press Secretary Caroline Levitt has said that we are now moving rapidly towards diplomacy. US President Donald Trump has sent a high-level team led by Vice President JD Vance to Pakistan, where the first round of US-Iran talks will be held on Saturday.

Press Secretary Caroline Leavitt said that President Trump has sent his Iran negotiation team to Pakistan under the leadership of Vice President JD Vance. The first round of talks is scheduled for Saturday. Leavitt further said that Trump's senior advisors Jared Kushner and Steve Witkoff will also participate in the talks in Islamabad along with JD Vance.

JD Vance played an important role

Leavitt told reporters, the first round of these talks will take place on Saturday morning local time, and we look forward to these face-to-face meetings. He said that Vice President JD Vance has played a very important role in this from the beginning. Of course, he is the right hand man of the President and the Vice President of America. He has been involved in all these discussions. JD Vance will lead this new phase of talks in Islamabad later this week.

not part of lebanon ceasefire

White House press secretary Carolyn Leavitt said Lebanon is not part of the ceasefire. This has been conveyed to all the parties involved in the ceasefire. As you know, Prime Minister Netanyahu issued a statement in support of the ceasefire, in support of America's efforts, and he also assured the President that they will remain a cooperative partner over the next two weeks.

End of uranium enrichment in Iran

Carolyn Leavitt said President Trump and his team determined that the revised plan was a practical basis for negotiations and could be tailored to our 15-point proposal. There are no changes to the president's terms, which also include an end to uranium enrichment in Iran. To think that President Trump would ever accept Iran's wish list as a compromise is completely absurd.

Iran agrees to open Hormuz Strait

The President will only seek an agreement that is in the best interest of the United States, and he and his negotiating team will focus on this effort for the next two weeks, as long as the Strait of Hormuz remains open without any restrictions or delays. These extremely sensitive and complex talks will take place behind closed doors over the next two weeks.

Leavitt said Iran has agreed to open the Strait of Hormuz, and as the President said, we have received a proposal from the Iranians that is considered a viable basis for negotiations. The Iranians initially presented a 10-point plan which was completely rejected. President Trump literally threw it in the trash.
