The country's politics has heated up after the Women's Reservation Bill failed in the Lok Sabha. The opposition is terming this exercise as a conspiracy by the ruling party, while the ruling party is blaming the opposition for it. Now the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) at the Center is planning to take this issue to the streets. BJP is now going to take to the streets in Madhya Pradesh to honor women. Also, a one-day special session has been called in the Madhya Pradesh Assembly to discuss this issue.
In Madhya Pradesh, the government has announced to call a one-day special session of the Assembly on the issue of women's respect. Along with this, BJP government is going to take to the streets in honor of women and there are preparations for protest demonstration across the state from tomorrow. CM Mohan Yadav said that we had seen the disrobing of Draupadi 5 thousand years ago, but the incident of playing with the honor of sisters that happened in the Parliament is extremely painful and condemnable. The way all Dushasan, Duryodhan and people from the Kaurava side were involved in that incident is painful for all of us.
State Chief Minister Mohan Yadav said, “Today, in the presence of the sisters, I would like to say that for the decision taken by the Prime Minister and the Home Minister, PM Modi had written a letter to everyone with a big heart, so that no one can say on this issue that we were not given information, we were not discussed with us.” He said, "We have decided that this issue will be taken to the people through the government, party, society and media. Tomorrow on Monday, a big Akrosh Yatra will be taken out in the state, in which a pledge will be taken to get the sisters their rights. Those who have committed this sin will be exposed."
He said, "In the coming time, demonstrations will be held at every district and panchayat level. A one-day session of the Assembly will also be called and this issue will be raised again. Now we are not going to stop. Every aspect of the ill-treatment meted out to half the country's population will be brought before the public."
Regarding the protest, MP BJP State President Hemant Khandelwal said, "The incident that took place in the Lok Sabha was not just a parliamentary process, but was also an important topic related to half the population of the country. But the opposition, especially Rahul Gandhi and his allies, have shown that their mentality is anti-women." He said, “I think the question raised by Congress was in a way a crime against our sisters.”
He said, “You all know that for many years, all the parties wanted women's reservation to be implemented in some form or the other, but when the subject of its implementation came up, the real face of the opposition was exposed. Our Chief Minister (Mohan Yadav) is responsible for a detailed discussion on this subject.”
On this issue, BJP's National Vice President Rekha Verma said that the women of this country were fighting for their rights for 70 years. Continuous efforts were being made to ensure that women should get 33 percent reservation. After the formation of the government, Mahila Shakti had hope that this time perhaps Mahila Shakti would get its rights but it did not get it.
He said that the intention of the opposition parties was that they would not allow this bill to be passed. All the people together had made up their mind that they would not allow this bill to be implemented. Whereas our Prime Minister clearly said that we do not want credit, implement it, we will give you credit but let this bill be implemented. Still he did not support this bill. Due to this, this bill could not be implemented and when this bill failed in the Parliament, these people celebrated. Congratulated each other which is very unfortunate. Women power will never be able to forgive this.
