A big update is coming for WhatsApp users which can completely change their chat experience. The company is working on a feature that will automatically send business messages to a separate section. This can provide relief from inbox congestion and unwanted promotional messages. The special thing is that this feature is being designed keeping in mind the convenience of the user so that important messages are not missed.
According to the report, this feature has been seen in Android 2.26.15.9 beta version of WhatsApp and is currently in the development stage. Under this feature, business chats will automatically move to a separate section after 24 hours. Users will also get the option that if they wish, they can keep some business chats in the main chat list only. In this way the user will be able to manage the chat as per his convenience. It has also been told in the report that this feature will work especially on those business messages which are related to offers and updates.
According to the report of WABetaInfo, a separate section will be created for business chats, which may look like archive chats. With this, users will not need to manually delete or sort chats again and again. WhatsApp itself will remove these messages from the main chat list after 24 hours. This will keep the inbox clean and users will be able to easily pay attention to their important personal messages. This feature will be especially beneficial for those people who are constantly troubled by promotional messages.
In today's time, many users face problems due to business and marketing messages. When people register on any service or website, they start receiving messages of continuous updates and offers. This makes it difficult to find important chats. This new feature of WhatsApp is an attempt to provide a solution to this problem. The company is currently testing this feature and it is expected that first it will be released for beta users, after which it will gradually be extended to all users.
