Meanwhile, Bihar State Women Commission has also taken cognizance of this statement of Pappu Yadav. The State Women's Commission has issued a notice against her. The MP has been given three days to reply. This notice has been issued by Apsara, Chairperson of the Women's Commission.
In the notice, on behalf of the Chairperson of the Commission, it has been said, 'In a video circulated through social media, you have made a disgusting statement towards the women working in the political field, in which you have said that the women working in politics come only after sharing beds with some politicians. This statement hurts the self-respect and social prestige of women.
Further, it is said in the notice, 'Taking suo motu cognizance of this, the Bihar State Women's Commission demands an answer from you as to why such a hateful statement was given by you? Also, why not a recommendation be made to the Speaker of the Lok Sabha to cancel your membership of the Lok Sabha? Therefore, please ensure that a clear reply regarding the said hateful statement is provided to the undersigned within three days of receiving the letter. This should be considered urgent.
