The actor, who created a stir in the popular web series 'Panchayat Ke Season 4', has revealed the caste discrimination he faced in his childhood. The actor told how Dalits are kept separate in the village. They are not even allowed to go to the temple. While telling about the struggles of his life, the actor also told the story of his childhood.

Panchayat actor's big revelation

'Panchayat' actor Vinod Suryavanshi told that casteism still exists in his native village. During this, he also mentioned some of the harsh truths he faced while growing up there. He says- "In my village in Karnataka, casteism still exists. There are two parts in that village, one for upper castes and the other for lower castes. The part where Dalits live is completely different from the village."

When father was insulted, had to wash utensils

The actor also told that when he went to the village with his father, he was only 12 years old. He further says - "When we ate food in a hotel, we had to wash our plates ourselves and also pay for the food. Even today there is a temple in my village where we are not allowed to go inside." Vinod also talked about growing up in extreme poverty. He says, “Where most people are happy when festivals arrive, he and his family used to cry because they were not able to celebrate the festivals properly.

“I often saw my parents crying. When festivals came, I used to wonder why they were coming at all. Why was Diwali coming. Festivals made us cry even more because we could never celebrate them like others. Our condition was very bad. Only if someone gave us something, we could celebrate festivals. This was our reality.”

The Panchayat actor told that while struggling as an actor, he did many small jobs. Used to work as a security guard, due to which he got blisters on his feet. Who helped him understand and told him that the society judges any person by his work. They say – “The bigger the work, the more respect you will get”.
