Sonu Nigam On Asha Bhosle: Veteran singer Sonu Nigam has told about the time he spent with legendary singer Asha Bhosle. He also said that one should not mourn the death of Asha Bhosle. Sonu Nigam says that Asha Bhosle has been working at the age of 92. Every artist wants such a life. During this, Sonu also narrated stories related to Asha Bhosle. On April 12, Asha Bhosle died at Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai.
Sonu Nigam has shared a video on his Instagram account, in which he is traveling in a car and is seen talking to someone about Asha Bhosle. He says, "In the beginning of 1996, it was Bharat Bhai Shah's son's wedding. That was my first concert with him in Bombay (Mumbai). She (Asha Bhosle) had a sore throat. She asked me that you will sing with me… She said I would not be able to sing, but she sang. Asha BhosleVery big (personality he is). They didn't need me. His throat was bad, but it got cured. He sang it no matter what. She was an amazing inspiration.”
Sonu further explains, "She took me to America in 1996. We performed with her in June. I, Amit Kumar ji and Asha ji. She had a spur on her foot in the heel. My mother also had it. I used to cure her. It happened to her, she was not able to stand. I said I know how to cure it. After two-three shows, I went to her room. I pressed her feet like this and she got cured. For many years she used to tell me, do you remember, you pressed my foot there.” Sonu told that a bone thorn grows from the heel, this is probably due to some deficiency or overgrowth of calcium.

Sonu told, "I remember, one day we were probably in Vancouver. She told me that she would like to eat rice, she is in the mood for pulses and rice. I said yes, let's eat. So she did. Look at our good fortune. That is why I am sad about her departure but I feel that one should not celebrate the loss of such a great personality. She has lived her life to the fullest. What is this now? She was 92 years old. Till now, she was working till the end. This life was like crying. Is there anyone who is there, meaning someone whose departure (should be cried).”
Sonu said, "Such a woman, who goes like this, is every artist's dream. May I live long, may my work be long, may my relevance remain till the end. This is the dream of every artist.
