Google OTP Free Sign Up: Google has made a big change for Android users, which will make it easier than ever to sign up for apps. Now there will be no need to enter OTP and Gmail will be automatically verified. Along with this, the company has also introduced many AI features for Workspace in Google Cloud Next 2026. This update focuses on making the work of users faster and smarter. However, the question is also arising whether this will affect data security.

Sign up will be done without OTP

Google has given a new update to Android's Credential Manager, which will completely change the way of signing up on apps. Now users will not have to wait for OTP for email verification, because the system will automatically verify Gmail. When an app wants to confirm your identity, a native window will appear at the bottom of the screen, where you can tap Agree and continue to quickly complete the process. This entire process happens in the background and the user does not have to switch between the app and email again and again. This saves time and makes signing up easier.

Will the data remain safe or will the risk increase?

Google claims that user data will be completely safe in this new system. It uses cryptographically verified credentials, so that no app can get your information without permission. User consent is required every time and it is clearly shown what information is being shared. Apart from this, this system is available only for private Gmail accounts and it is up to the developers to implement it in the apps. That means the user gets both control and transparency, which reduces concerns about security.

AI explosion in the workplace, work will become easier

Google has also introduced major updates for its Workspace platform at the Cloud Next 2026 event. The company has launched a new system called Workspace Intelligence, which automates work by creating better connections between apps like Doc, Slides and Gmail. The Take Notes for me feature of Google Meet will now also work in offline meetings and on platforms like Zoom or Microsoft Teams. With the help of Gemini AI in Google Sheets, dashboard and data analysis will be easy. Besides, new tools and security features have also been added for developers, due to which the entire system is becoming smarter and more secure.
