There has been a full stop on the peace talks to be held in Pakistan. The US President has canceled the visit of Witkoff and Kushner to Pakistan. He has said that there is no point in traveling for 18 hours. Iran can talk to us on phone whenever it wants. According to Fox News report, Trump said that American negotiators Steve Witkoff and Kushner will no longer go to Pakistan for talks with Iran.
Trump said that there was no point in the American delegation flying for 18 hours to Pakistan. America has all the decisive powers in the war with Iran. Iranians can call America whenever they want. I told the delegation getting ready to go to Islamabad – You cannot fly for 18 hours to go there.
Trump said, we have all options. Iran can call us whenever it wants. Now you will not go there and talk nonsense after flying for 18 hours. A lot of time was wasted in traveling and there was a lot of work too. Apart from this, there is tremendous infighting and confusion within their (Iran) leadership itself. No one knows who is really in charge. We have all the cards in our hands, they have nothing!
Let us tell you that before this, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has left for Oman after holding talks with the Prime Minister of Pakistan. Before leaving Pakistan, Aragchi has put 10 conditions before America for talks. Iran had already made it clear that it would not hold any talks with America. Meanwhile, the big question is – if the Iranian delegation did not want to talk to America then why did Aragchi reach Islamabad. Different statements came out from Iran and America regarding this.
Before coming to Pakistan, Aragchi had said that he was starting a trip to Islamabad, Muscat and Moscow. Its purpose is to create coordination on bilateral matters. That is, an attempt was made to convey the message that the agenda of Aragchi's visit is not talks with America. Iran made it clear that direct talks with America are not possible amid threats and pressure.
