Ranveer Singh's multi-starrer film 'Dhurandhar 2' hit the theaters on March 19. Since then this film has been making bumper earnings. This film, made under the direction of Aditya Dhar, is setting new records every day. The film has earned around Rs 4 crore even on the 39th day. Now it is going to become the second highest grossing film of the country. This means that the throne of Prabhas starrer film 'Bahubali 2', directed by SS Rajamouli, is in danger.

'Dhurandhar 2' has done business of more than Rs 1777 crore in 39 days. According to Sacknilk Radiance Starrer 'Bahubali: The Conclusion' had earned a bumper amount of Rs 1788.06 crore worldwide in its lifetime run. This means that to leave behind 'Bahubali: The Conclusion', 'Dhurandhar 2' now has to earn only about Rs 11 crore more. Once this happens, it will become the second highest-grossing film in the country.

How much did you earn on the sixth weekend?

'Dhurandhar 2' has earned well on the sixth weekend. It did business of Rs 1.55 crore on Friday, 37th day, Rs 3 crore on Saturday and Rs 3.40 crore on Sunday, 39th day. This earning of the film was done in all languages. That means, on the sixth weekend the film has earned a good amount of Rs 7.95 crore. On Sunday, the film earned Rs 3.25 crore in Hindi only. It is clear from this that the film is still progressing at a decent pace. This week it will easily surpass 'Bahubali 2' and become the second highest grossing film of the country.

Difficult to reach Dangal

As soon as it earns Rs 11 crore, 'Dhurandhar 2' will become the second highest grossing film of the country. But at present it seems impossible for it to occupy the first number. This is possible only if the film is re-released later in some other country and it is successful in earning good money there. At present, the country's highest grossing film is Aamir Khan's 'Dangal'. 'Dangal' did a business of Rs 2070 crore worldwide. The film surprised everyone by earning more than Rs 1300 crore from China alone. It was directed by Nitesh Tiwari.
