After losing the West Bengal Assembly elections, TMC national president Mamata Banerjee held a press conference in Kolkata on Tuesday. During this, he fiercely targeted the Election Commission. Mamta Banerjee said that EC canceled the votes of lakhs of voters on the pretext of SIR. The opposition party BJP benefited from this. Whereas TMC suffered loss due to this. Mamta said that her fight was not with BJP but with the Election Commission.
During the press conference, Mamata Banerjee looked very positive about the India alliance. He said that we are with the India alliance. He clearly said that the opposition alliance is one. Mamta Banerjee said, I am grateful to India team leaders Sonia, Rahul, Tejashwi, Akhilesh and Uddhav, who called me. I am with India Alliance and will work to strengthen it. Mamta Banerjee said that she has devoted her entire life to social service. But now I am free and still have a lot of work to do.
Mamta Banerjee said that her fight is with the Election Commission. They will not be released under any circumstances. He will continue the fight against the Election Commission. He will do this work in collaboration with opposition party leaders. Mamta alleged that in a way the Election Commission has been sold. The Commission has made BJP win. More than 100 seats have been looted openly. All this work has been done by the Election Commission. That is why I will not go to the current assembly now.
Mamta alleged that the Election Commission had snatched the forms for all 17 seats. His agent was stopped. Not only this, the DO had messaged someone 15 days ago and said that he might have played in the counting. And everyone has seen this on May 4. Mamta alleged that after the election results came, they have started harassing SC/ST people. They are harassing them very badly. BJP along with its goons is committing atrocities. The police are also not inactive but are involved in atrocities. He said that he never even touched anyone's office. But CRPF and BJP goons harassed him in his own constituency.
