Yogi cabinet expanded before elections, 6 MLAs including Bhupendra Chaudhary took oath as ministers.

The cabinet of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is being expanded in Uttar Pradesh on Sunday. In the oath ceremony held in Lucknow Bhupendra Chaudhary took oath. Apart from themShanna Paswan, Hansraj Vishwakarma, Manoj Pandey, Kailash Rajput, Surendra Diler will take oath as new ministers. Among the new faces, one is from Brahmin, three from OBC and two from Dalit community. Apart from this, Somendr Tomar and Ajit Singh Pal are likely to get promotion as ministers.

This development comes a day after CM Yogi Adityanath met Anandiben Patel at Jan Bhawan, giving rise to speculations about a long-awaited reshuffle in the Uttar Pradesh ministry before the 2027 assembly elections.
