Oil- 1 tbsp
Mustard – 1 tsp
Cumin- 1/2 tsp
Asafoetida- 1/4 tsp
Fennel- 1 tsp
Curry leaves – 10–12
Green chilli – 1 tsp (finely chopped)
Garlic paste- 1 tsp
Onion- 1/4 cup (finely chopped)
Bottle gourd- 1/2 cup (grated)
Salt- as per taste
Red chilli powder- 1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder- 1/4 tsp
Coriander powder- 1/2 tsp
Cumin powder- 1/2 tsp
Curd- 1 cup
Green Coriander – 2 tbsp
Initially, heat a non-stick pan on medium flame. Add cumin seeds and mustard seeds and let them crackle. After this, add fennel, asafoetida and curry leaves and fry. Then, add garlic and green chilli paste and fry until the aroma starts coming out. Now add finely chopped onion and fry for a few seconds. After this, add grated bottle gourd and mix well and then add red chili powder, turmeric, salt, cumin powder and coriander powder and mix all the ingredients well.
Now turn off the gas and leave the mixture to cool for a while. Then add curd to it and mix well so that all the spices get mixed well. Finally, before serving, add finely chopped coriander to it and serve.
