But when there are obstacles in the functioning of the valve, acid reflux occurs and the problem of acidity in the body increases. Therefore, to get rid of the problem of increased acidity, one should change the sitting habits.
Often when sitting on a chair instead of sitting straight, bending forward, slouching the shoulders or hunching the stomach, the weight of the entire body falls on the stomach. Due to the tremendous physical pressure on the stomach and internal organs, the ingested food is pushed upwards towards the esophagus. Due to this, indigestion or frequent acidity leads to impaired digestion. Sitting in one place for hours at a time can sometimes lead to neck nerves or head directly on the table. Sitting in the wrong position completely disrupts digestion. Lying in one position for a long time increases the acid level and causes indigestion problems.

Abdominal organs contract due to sitting with back bent for hours. Also there is no natural bowel movement. Since the food eaten does not move forward in time, it remains in the intestines as well. This causes gas in the stomach. Therefore, improving posture through lifestyle changes is also necessary to prevent acidity. Always keep your back straight, shoulders relaxed and both feet together on the floor while sitting. Always keep the computer or laptop screen at eye level. This will not put too much pressure on the neck and back. Do not go to bed immediately after lunch or dinner and do gentle walking for 15 to 20 minutes. Due to this, the food eaten is properly digested.
