Troubled by power cut in UP, Shivpal reached Collectorate, targeted BJP

The political stir in Uttar Pradesh Etawah intensified when Samajwadi Party National General Secretary and Jaswantnagar MLA Shivpal Singh Yadav reached the Collectorate and met District Magistrate Shubhrant Kumar Shukla. During this, he discussed many public problems related to the district including his assembly constituency. While talking to journalists after the meeting, he raised questions on the functioning of the state government and raised issues related to the public prominently.

Shivpal Singh Yadav said that amidst the scorching heat, the electricity system of the state is not living up to the expectations of the people. He said that there are frequent power cuts in cities as well as rural areas, due to which the lives of common people are being affected. He claimed that dissatisfaction among the people is increasing due to lack of adequate power supply.

Speaking on the issue of farmers, he said that preparations for Kharif season have started, but in many areas sufficient water is not reaching through canals. In such a situation, farmers are facing the problem of irrigation. He demanded the administration and government to take immediate steps in this direction.

Raised issues related to youth and students

He also expressed concern on issues related to youth and students. He said that questions are being raised continuously regarding recruitment examinations and educational systems, due to which there is a situation of confusion among the youth preparing for competitive examinations. He expressed the need to make the system more transparent and trustworthy. On political questions, Shivpal Singh Yadav targeted the BJP leaders and said that the public will respond in time to the leaders who consider the opposition weak. He claimed that the people of the state now want answers on the issues of development and basic facilities.

Referring to the India alliance, he said that the opposition parties are continuously united and fighting a political battle against the BJP. He alleged that efforts are made to put pressure on opposition parties through various institutions, whereas in a democracy all parties should get equal opportunities.

The public proved political claims wrong

Citing the results of the Lok Sabha elections, he said that the public has proved many political claims wrong through their voting. He said that in the coming elections also the public will take the final decision and will decide in which direction the politics of the state and the country will go. He said that the main objective of his meeting with the District Magistrate was to put the problems of the area before the administration, so that the issues related to the common people could be resolved as soon as possible. He also expressed confidence that issues related to public interest will continue to be raised strongly in future also.
