As the investigation into the irregularities and theft of offerings at the Ayodhya Ramlala temple is progressing, the scope of the investigation is also increasing. Now in this entire episode, the eyes of the investigating agencies have focused on Dr. Anil Kumar Mishra, a member of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust and the chief responsible for monitoring the temple system.
It is believed that he can appear before the SIT on Thursday and present his side. The special investigation team formed by the state government is continuously interrogating to get to the bottom of the matter. Lucknow Division Commissioner Vijay Vishwas Pant, Lucknow Range IG Kiran S. are included in the SIT. And Neelratan Kumar, Special Secretary, Finance Department. The team has to submit the preliminary report within a week and the final report to the government within 15 days.
According to sources, the main accused Ramshankar Yadav alias Tinnu was thoroughly interrogated by the SIT throughout the day. Tinnu had earlier worked as the driver of Trust General Secretary Champat Rai and during the investigation he directly raised questions about the role of Dr. Anil Mishra. For this reason, it is now considered very important for the investigating agency to know Anil Mishra's side.
Actually, the main responsibility of counting the offerings, monitoring it and the internal arrangements of the temple was with Dr. Anil Mishra. In such a situation, the investigating agencies want to know how the system was being monitored during the alleged irregularities and whether there were any administrative lapses.
Interestingly, just before the SIT investigation began, Dr. Anil Mishra had gone to Chennai for eye treatment. After his return to Ayodhya, the possibility of interrogating him has become stronger. Earlier, SIT had also collected necessary information from Trust General Secretary Champat Rai and temple administrator Gopal Rao. Although the investigating agency has not yet officially confirmed that it has reached any conclusion, but sources say that after interrogating Anil Mishra, answers to many important questions can emerge.
At present, everyone's eyes are on this matter from Ayodhya, Lucknow to Delhi. Now it has to be seen what new facts come to light in the SIT's inquiry and whether the mysteries of this much-discussed episode related to the offerings at Ram temple are revealed or not.
