Pakistan Cricket Board has decided the salary and match fees of the players according to the new central contract. According to reports, the match fees of Pakistani players is going to almost double. The match fees of players who play test cricket will be up to 15 lakh Pakistani rupees. Earlier, central contract players used to get 8 lakh Pakistani rupees as test match fees. If reports are to be believed, head coaches Mike Hesson and Sarfaraz Ahmed have prepared a new contract in which the players seem to be getting a lot of benefits.
According to reports pcb Central contract A and B grade players will get the most money. Apart from the match fees, these players will also get a monthly retainer of Rs 5 million Pakistani crores. If sources are to be believed, the board has also added new bonuses in the contract for victories in ICC and Asia Cup competitions. Players will get 500 percent bonus of their match fees on winning ICC competitions and 300 percent bonus will be given on winning Asian level competitions. Players in C category in the central contract, who play only T20 and franchise cricket, will also get a monthly retainer of up to Pakistani rupees 1.5 million every month. B category players will be given a retainer of up to Rs 1.8 million. PCB has not yet given information as to how many players are going to get this central contract.
