Amid tight security arrangements, NEET-UG re-examination is being conducted on Sunday at more than 5000 centers in the country and abroad. NTA had canceled the examination held on May 3, after which this examination is being conducted again. This time there were allegations of paper leakage and other irregularities. The exam will be held on Sunday from 2.00 pm to 5.15 pm, this time an extra time of 15 minutes has been given. This examination is being conducted in 5,440 centers in 551 cities of India and 14 centers abroad, it is being conducted in English and 12 Indian languages.

According to ANI news The incident occurred in Bengaluru, Karnataka on Sunday when four girl students were arrested at a police station in Bengaluru after arriving just after the 1:30 pm deadline. NEET Was denied entry into the examination centre.
The parents alleged that the delay was caused by traffic jams caused by the Congress rally and lack of police management. Because of this he was not allowed to enter the examination hall. They were seen complaining at the gate and pleading for entry and those students were also crying.
According to eyewitnesses, at 1:29 pm an announcement was made that this was the last minute before the gates closed. At exactly 1:30 pm, the main gate was closed as per NEET guidelines which prohibit entry after the stipulated time but, the inner gate of the exam hall was also closed and they could not go inside.

Similarly, tension spread at Maharshi Dayanand College in Mumbai's Parel area when two NEET aspirants were denied admission after arriving late.
The college administration strictly followed the stipulated time limit and kept the gates closed, due to which the students created a ruckus outside. One student is from Kurla, and the other is from Dombivali area adjacent to Mumbai. A similar incident was reported in which a fourth student also missed entry by a minute. Parents alleged that due to the Congress rally, the roads were completely blocked and there were no policemen to manage the traffic.
A parent told that they had left home on time, but got stuck in the traffic. They complained a lot to the officials at the center because the future of the candidates was at stake, but they did not respond and did not allow the candidates to go inside the examination center.

Similarly, in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, two students were not given entry to the exam center for NEET-UG re-exam for coming late. Aamir Qadri, uncle of a candidate, told PTI, "I have come here with my nephew for his exam. We met with an accident while going to the exam center and we got a little late because my nephew needed first aid. Now that we have reached here, we are not being given entry. The officials are saying that the exam has started and we will not be given entry."
Exam officials said they followed the rules of the National Testing Agency, under which entry is strictly prohibited after the gates are closed at 1:30 pm. Meanwhile, NEET-UG exam started across the country amid tight security to ensure a fair and smooth test.
According to NTA, arrangements for CCTV surveillance have been made in more than 95,000 examination halls. Officials said that strict security arrangements have been made. A total of 1,38,560 CCTV cameras and 51,311 jammers have been installed at the examination centres. Kishan, a candidate who was appearing for the exam again in Delhi, said that this time the security arrangements were more tight than the previous test. According to NTA, this time around 22 lakh candidates are appearing for the exam.
