Janashakti Janata Dal (JJD) chief Tej Pratap Yadav has filed a police complaint against his personal assistant (PA) Motilal Rai. He has alleged that his PA has stolen valuables and gold ornaments kept in the house including Rs 20 lakh cash from the party fund. After the complaint, the police has started investigating the matter.
This incident took place at his official residence located at 42, Harding Road, Patna. According to the information, Tej Pratap Yadav has also lodged a complaint in the Secretariat police station of Patna. In his complaint he told that on Monday night at around 11:30 pm. His driver Anil Yadav and his roommate Vishal saw personal assistant Motilal Rai running away after crossing the boundary of the house with a bag. According to Yadav, both are eyewitnesses to this incident. They say that both of them saw the PA running away with the bag.
In the complaint given to the police, the JJD chief claimed that around Rs 20 lakh in cash and a chain weighing more than 23 grams were found in the cupboard. A gold ring, mobile phone and other electronic devices are also reported missing. It is being told that this incident came to light on June 22 when Tej Pratap checked the cupboard of his room. It has been said in the complaint that the accused personal assistant absconded with the goods from the house. Tej Pratap Yadav has demanded the police to investigate the matter and take action against the accused. He claims that the stolen Rs 20 lakh belonged to the party fund.
After receiving the complaint, on Tuesday (June 23), police officials inspected the residence of Tej Pratap Yadav in Patna. However, the police officers who reached the spot during the investigation did not answer the media's questions. The police are now investigating the allegations made in the complaint and all aspects related to the incident are being investigated. No official information has yet been revealed by the authorities regarding confirmation of the theft or further action against the accused.
It is being told that the personal assistant Motilal Yadav who has been accused of theft is a resident of Vaishali district of Bihar. Motilal Yadav's wife Preeti Bharti says that she had talked to her husband on video call for the last time. Expressing concern, she said that she did not know whether her husband was safe or not and he would need us. Here the police will take further action on the basis of the role of the accused, statements of the people present at the spot and other evidence.
