Akhilesh Yadav lashed out at the theft of donations in the Ram temple of Ayodhya and said that whatever happened in Ayodhya was a great sin. Playing with faith will not be tolerated. On the Lucknow fire incident, the Samajwadi Party leader said that the lives of children could have been saved in the Aliganj incident of Lucknow. If all the facilities were available on time and attention had been given in advance.

Regarding theft of donations in Ram Temple, the former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh said that the offerings made throughout the state, across the country and at the international level are a traditional tradition. If question is raised on tradition then it is not right, it is a very sensitive issue.

SIT means Share in theft: Akhilesh

On the question of whether the theft in the offerings in Ayodhya is a failure of the administration, Akhilesh Yadav said, "What does SIT mean, Share in theft? This is a breach in trust. This is a big sin. There has been tampering with faith."

Regarding Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath going to Bengaluru to participate in UP Global Growth Dialogue 2026 and Investor Road Show, Akhilesh Yadav said that lakhs of acres of land are being given to who knows who for personal interest. Now going to invest in Bengaluru. They are going to eat dosa in Bengaluru. When the government has to go, who will bring investment?

Had all the facilities been available, the incident would not have happened: Akhilesh

Targeting the state government, he said that these people are the ones who are destroying the forest. If investment had come, wouldn't there have been jobs?

On the Lucknow fire incident, Akhilesh Yadav said, "The lives of the children could have been saved in the Aliganj incident. If all the facilities were available on time and care had been taken in advance, this incident would not have happened. If the government had woken up earlier, all this would not have happened. How many times did fire occur in the Maha Kumbh, when did the fire occur in the Levana Hotel, then the government said that the bulldozer would be used within 24 hours, but since it had its own hotel, it could not use the bulldozer.

He said that if the government can remove thousands of people from Akbar Nagar, then what was the government doing in the last 10 years. It was the responsibility of the government, if things had been done at the right time, the lives of the children could have been saved. He said that after the fire they did not even have the tools to break the wall. More people died due to suffocation than fire.
