Heart related diseases or health problems are no longer limited only to the elderly. Due to disturbed lifestyle, stress, lack of proper sleep and wrong eating habits, cases of heart attacks are increasing rapidly among young people. Actually, morning time is considered very sensitive for heart health. During this period, blood pressure and heart rate start increasing naturally. In such a situation, some mistakes made after waking up in the morning can put extra pressure on the heart and increase the risk of heart attack.
These habits or mistakes seem normal to people but they can also create life threatening situations. Let us tell you through experts which mistakes in the morning make you a victim of heart attack at an early age.
Dr. Amar Singhal (Director Cardiology Shri Balaji Action Medical Institute Delhi) It is said that many people jump out of bed as soon as the alarm rings. But after waking up from sleep, the body needs some time to come back to normal state. Standing suddenly can cause rapid changes in blood pressure, which can cause dizziness, restlessness or extra pressure on the heart. Experts advise that after waking up, sit on the bed for 1-2 minutes and get up slowly.
The habit of checking email, social media or news on mobile as soon as you wake up can increase the stress hormone cortisol. Negative news or work pressure can cause mental stress in the morning, which can increase heart rate and blood pressure. This habit can have a negative impact on heart health in the long run.
While sleeping overnight, the body remains without water for several hours. When you wake up in the morning, the body may become slightly dehydrated, due to which the blood becomes relatively thicker and the heart has to work harder to pump blood. Therefore, drinking one or two glasses of plain water after waking up in the morning is considered beneficial.
Many people start the day with tea or coffee. However, consuming excess caffeine on an empty stomach may increase heart rate and blood pressure in some people. Especially people with high blood pressure, heart disease or anxiety problems should avoid this habit. It would be better to drink water first and then have tea or coffee after having light breakfast.

Exercise is beneficial for the heart, but it is not right to do heavy workouts suddenly without warm-up. The body and muscles are not fully active in the morning. In such a situation, suddenly running fast, lifting heavy weight or doing excessive strength exercise can increase the pressure on the heart. Experts recommend stretching and light warm-up first.
