Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Keshav Prasad Maurya said that Congress and Samajwadi Party are naturally irritated with Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple. Both these parties have also taken the Indi alliance into their fold. Spreading lies, confusion and poison in this matter has become a special hobby of his. First by opposing Shri Ram Temple and now by unnecessarily opposing the investigation on its offerings, Akhilesh Yadav and his 'Lathaitawadi group' are doing cheap politics in a way.

He said that after the SIT investigation, arrests have been made after the FIR. It is certain that the culprits will not be spared. But, Sanatan and those against Ram do not desist from showing their evil mentality. Keshav Prasad Maurya said with full confidence that they should keep in mind that the lotus will bloom again in 2027. Jai Shri Ram!

'This issue is about public trust'

Two years after the consecration of the Ram temple, which became a political milestone for the Bharatiya Janata Party, allegations of irregularities in donations have erupted into a serious controversy. The controversy came to light on June 7 when Samajwadi Party leader Pawan Pandey alleged that donations ranging from ₹5 crore to ₹7.5 crore were embezzled from the temple offerings. The same day, the Trust rejected these allegations. Champat Rai said that every rupee given by the devotees was properly accounted for and also audited.

Later on June 7, SP president Akhilesh Yadav demanded an independent investigation, saying transparency was necessary for faith. Uttar Pradesh Congress chief Ajay Rai and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh started demanding accountability, arguing that the issue was not about party politics but about public trust. On June 25, the AAP MP appeared before the Special Investigation Team (SIT) to present evidence.
