Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has extended the deadline of the Special Investigation Team (SIT) probing the theft of Ram temple offerings in Ayodhya till July 15. The SIT had requested the Chief Minister to give additional time for thorough investigation of various aspects of this case, which has been accepted. The Chief Minister has now directed the SIT to submit its report by July 15. It is believed that on July 15, SIT may include some more names in its report.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, who formed the Special Investigation Team (SIT) on the request of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, is keeping a close eye on this matter. The Chief Minister has already made it clear that the SIT will thoroughly and objectively investigate every aspect of this case and make all the difference. People involved in this incident will not be spared under any circumstances. Lucknow's Divisional Commissioner and SIT chief Vijay Vishwas Pant submitted his initial report to the Home Department on June 23, in which he gave strict suggestions.
Based on these suggestions, the first FIR was registered at Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Police Station on June 25 following a written complaint by Trust member Krishna Mohan. In which 8 named and other unknown persons were made accused. All the named accused have been arrested and sent to jail.
At the same time, demand for action against Champat Rai, Anil Mishra and Gopalji Rao is being raised. However, Vishwa Hindu Parishad has now openly come in favor of Champat Rai. Whereas some saint communities are demanding action against these three. It is being said that a meeting of Ram Mandir Trust is to be held on 6th July. In this, these three names will be discussed. Only after that the decision will be taken.
