BANGKAPOS.COM – Berikut soal dan kunci jawaban Bahasa Inggris kelas 11 SMA halaman 100-101 Kurikulum Merdeka Edisi Revisi.

Pada halaman 100 Practice 1, siswa diminta mencari kalimat langsung dan tidak langsung dalam cerita The Goose Girl.

Sementara di 101 Practice 2 ini, siswa diminta mengubah kalimat tidak langsung menjadi kalimat langsung.

Setelah itu, siswa diminta menjawab sejumlah pertanyaan yang disediakan.

Sejumlah pertanyaan juga diberikan di siswa diminta untuk menjawabnya.

Melansir Tribunnews.com, kunci jawaban yang disediakan hanya sebagai bahan referensi sekaligus panduan belajar bagi siswa.

Tujuannya untuk membantu siswa memahami materi yang sedang dipelajari.

Dengan adanya kunci jawaban ini, siswa dapat membandingkan hasil pekerjaan mereka dengan jawaban yang benar, sehingga lebih mudah menemukan kesalahan dan memperbaikinya.

Sebelum melihat kunci jawaban, sangat dianjurkan agar siswa terlebih dahulu berusaha mengerjakan soal secara mandiri.

Soal

Reread "The Goose Girl" story. Find all direct and indirect speeches and change them from direct to indirect and the other way around.

Jawaban

Direct speech

1. The Queen said, "Take this handkerchief to protect you on your journey."

2. The Princess asked the Waiting-maid, "Will you get me some water in my golden cup?"

3. The Waiting-maid replied, "I will not be your servant any longer."

4. The handkerchief whispered, "If your mother knew, her heart would break in two."

5. Falada the horse said, "Alas, Princess, if your mother knew!"

Indirect speech

1. The Queen told her daughter to take that handkerchief to protect her on her journey.

2. The Princess asked the Waiting-maid if she would get her some water in her golden cup.

3. The Waiting-maid replied that she would not be her servant any longer.

4. The handkerchief whispered that if her mother had known, her heart would have broken in two.

5. Falada the horse lamented that if her mother knew, she would be very sad.

Kunci Jawaban Halaman 101 Practice 2

Soal

Change the indirect speech into the direct speech form!

a. She sang that she was a pretty lower. 

b. She boasted that strong winds and heavy rain would not destroy her. Her beauty would calm them down.

c. She cried that she did not want to lose her beauty and sparkle.

d. Oliver softly said Fiona might have lost her petals, but her beauty still lay within.

e. He added that true strength was not boasting but resilience and humility.

f. Fiona said in sadness to Oliver that she was so sorry.

Jawaban

a. She sang, "I am a pretty flower."

b. "Strong winds and heavy rain will not destroy me. My beauty will calm them down," she boasted.

c. "I do not want to lose my beauty and sparkle," she cried.

d. Oliver softly said, "Fiona, you might have lost your petals, but your beauty still lies within."
