BANGKAPOS.COM -- Berikut soal dan kunci jawaban Bahasa Inggris kelas 11 SMA/MA halaman 129 130 dan 131 Kurikulum Merdeka Edisi Revisi.

Pada buku Bahasa Inggris halaman 129, siswa diminta untuk mengamati gambar lalu menjawab soal yang telah diberikan.

Di halaman 130 Activity 1, siswa diminta untuk melihat gambar di dalam buku dan menjawab empat pertanyaan yang telah diberikan.

Sementara di halaman 131 Activity 1, siswa diminta mengamati sebuah gambar bertema pencemaran lingkungan, kemudian menjawab sejumlah pertanyaan dalam bahasa Inggris berdasarkan hasil pengamatan dan pengalaman pribadi. 

Melalui kegiatan tersebut, siswa dilatih untuk mengembangkan kemampuan berbicara dan menulis dalam bahasa Inggris, sekaligus mengungkapkan pendapat mengenai isu lingkungan, seperti pencemaran udara, air, dan tanah.  

Selain itu, latihan ini juga mendorong siswa berpikir kritis dalam mencari solusi terhadap permasalahan lingkungan di sekitarnya.

Sejumlah pertanyaan juga diberikan di siswa diminta untuk menjawabnya.

Kunci jawaban yang disediakan hanya sebagai bahan referensi sekaligus panduan belajar bagi siswa.

Tujuannya untuk membantu siswa memahami materi yang sedang dipelajari.

Dengan adanya kunci jawaban ini, siswa dapat membandingkan hasil pekerjaan mereka dengan jawaban yang benar, sehingga lebih mudah menemukan kesalahan dan memperbaikinya.

Sebelum melihat kunci jawaban, sangat dianjurkan agar siswa terlebih dahulu berusaha mengerjakan soal secara mandiri.

1. From the picture, I can see a large arched bridge crossing a valley where the ground is severely cracked and dry, leaving only a small, receding stream of water in the riverbed.

2. Seeing this picture makes me feel concerned and worried about the environment because the sight of such extreme water scarcity and barren land is very distressing.

3. Based on the visual evidence and the caption "Drought," I guess the topic we are going to learn in this unit is about natural disasters or environmental issues.

We know, without water, all the farmer's effort is nothing, because, water is everything, for all the people in the world.

1. What do you see in the picture?

Answer: I see factories releasing thick black smoke into the air, wastewater and oil being dumped into a river, and piles of garbage including plastic waste, tires, and barrels scattered around. There is also a truck emitting exhaust fumes on the road. Overall, the picture shows air, water, and land pollution caused by human activities.

2. Have you ever found your surroundings dirty and full of trash?

Sample Answer

Yes, I have. I have seen trash scattered along riverbanks, in empty lots, or on the roadside in my neighbourhood, especially near markets or after it rains when garbage floats along with the water.

Alternative Answer

No, I haven't. My neighbourhood is usually clean because people take care to dispose of their trash properly.

3. What should you do if you find a river in your neighbourhood full of garbage?

Sample Answer

If I found a river full of garbage, I would report it to the local community leader (RT/RW) or environmental officers so it can be cleaned up properly. I would also invite my neighbours to join a gotong royong (community clean-up) and remind everyone not to throw trash into the river anymore.

Alternative Answer 1

If I found a river full of garbage, I would pick up the trash myself if it wasn't too much, and throw it in the proper place. I believe small actions can make a difference if everyone starts doing them.

I would try to raise awareness among people living nearby by explaining how polluted rivers can cause flooding and diseases. I think educating people is important so they understand why they shouldn't throw garbage into the river.
