Bengaluru: The Siddaramaiah government of Karnataka has decided to withdraw the notification allowing the CBI investigation team to conduct an open investigation. This decision was taken in the cabinet meeting chaired by CM Siddaramaiah on Thursday. After the verdict, Minister HK Patil said that the CBI can investigate independently under the Prevention of Corruption Act.
