Neelam Karwaria, a former BJP MLA from Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh’s Meja seat, fell suddenly in a private hospital in Hyderabad. She was fifty-five. Karwaria was taken to the hospital around ten days ago in order to have a liver transplant, according to Vachaspati, the current Apna Dal MLA for the Bara seat. Thursday night, her health worsened, ultimately resulting in her death.

Her spouse, Udaybhan Karwaria, and their three children—a boy named Saksham and two girls named Samriddhi and Sakshi—survive her. In 2017, Neelam Karwaria won election on a BJP ticket to the Meja seat.

Former Bara constituency BJP MLA Udaybhan Karwaria was freed from Naini Central Jail on July 25 after spending over nine years. He was given a life sentence after being found guilty in the murder of former Samajwadi Party MLA Jawahar Yadav. Later, at the governor’s advice, he was freed. It is anticipated that Neelam Karwaria’s remains would be returned to Prayagraj this afternoon.
