On one hand, Test series is being played between India and Bangladesh, while on the other hand, England and Australia are busy in ODI series these days. Even between these two series, everyone is waiting for November, when Team India's tour of Australia will start and the Border-Gavaskar Trophy of 5 test matches will be played between the two teams. After losing the series against India twice in a row at home, the Australian team is desperate to make a comeback but its aspiration is being clouded by crisis. This is because the team's star all-rounder Cameron Green has been injured and the Australians do not seem very confident about his fitness for the Test series. Green suffered this injury during the ODI series on the England tour, due to which he has been ruled out.

England out of series, return to Australia soon

25 year old right-handed batsman and fast bowler Cameron Green has performed well in the T20 and ODI series on the tour of Scotland and England. However, he got injured after the third ODI match. In this match played in Durham, Green had scored 42 runs and also took 2 wickets. Australia had to face defeat in that match. It was during this match that Green suffered a back injury, due to which he could not play even in the fourth ODI and was out of the series. Cricket Australia asked him to return to the country and he will reach Australia before his team.

According to the report of cricket.com.au, the Australian team spokesperson has made it clear that the seriousness of Green's injury will be known only after his return to the country. Green will soon return to his home in Perth and will then undergo scans of his back, which will reveal how serious the injury is and how long it may take to return. Cricket Australia is currently not saying anything about this all-rounder playing in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy.
