Kangana Ranaut's film 'Emergency' was scheduled to release in theaters on September 6, but the film got stuck in the censor board. Because of this the film could not be released on its scheduled time. Now such information has come to light that the Censor Board has given U/A certificate to this film. However, the path of release has not been cleared yet. Along with giving the certificate, the Censor Board has asked the makers to make changes at 13 places in the film.

Once changes are made in the film, only then will this picture be released. However, it is being said that G-Studio has said that it needs some time to think about the cut. Let us now know what changes have been asked to be made in the film.

These things will have to change in 'emergency'

  • First of all, the Censor Board has asked to add a disclaimer at the beginning of the film, in which it is written that this film is inspired by a true incident. Whatever the incident is, it has been presented in a dramatic manner. CBFC wants this because it should be completely clear that whatever is being shown in the film is not completely true.
  • There is a scene of Jawaharlal Nehru in the beginning itself, in which he is shown saying that China has separated Assam from India. However, the Board has asked for the source from where this dialogue was included in the film. Because the historians sitting on the board have no knowledge about such an incident.
  • The board has also objected to a dialogue of Sanjay Gandhi's character, because from that dialogue it seems as if a deal is being made for votes. Actually, in that dialogue, Bhindranwale says to Sanjay Gandhi - 'Your party needs votes and we want Khalistan'
  • It is being told that there is a scene in this film in which a Sikh shoots a man who does not belong to the Sikh community. The censor board has asked to delete this scene. Also, violence is taking place in the film at 2 minutes 11 minutes, it has been asked to reduce that violence.
  • In one scene, a conversation is taking place between Indira Gandhi and the Army Chief. There is mention of Arjun Day there. That is, the birth anniversary of the fifth Guru Arjan of the Sikhs. The Board has asked to remove the mention of 'Arjuna Day'. The board says that there is no such tradition in the Sikh community.
  • CBFC has also suggested that wherever original footage is used in the film, a static message should be given. That means there should be no movement in that message
  • Whatever important things are there in the film, be it any data, someone's statement or any reference taken from somewhere, then the source of all those things has to be mentioned from where those things were taken.
  • There are three such scenes in the film, where Bhindranwale's character is not in the frame, but his name is being mentioned. The board has asked the makers to remove Bhindranwale's name. As mentioned above, 13 changes have been suggested in the film. However, information about four out of 13 changes is yet to come. As of now, as much information as we mentioned has come to light.
