MP Board Class 5th, 8th Exam 2025 Pattern: The School Education Department, Madhya Pradesh has released the exam pattern of MP Board 5th and 8th. The State Education Center of Madhya Pradesh School Education Department has issued guidelines for the examination based on the books and syllabus prescribed by NCERT for classes 5th and 8th of MP Board in the academic session 2024-25. Weightage marks for the exam result have also been prescribed in the instructions. Weightage marks for the half-yearly examination of MP Board 5th and 8th will be 20, weightage marks for the annual written examination will be 60, and 20 marks will be given for the annual examination project.
5 objective questions will be asked in the MP Board 5th and 8th exam pattern. Each question will be for one mark. At the same time, the number of questions to fill in the blanks will be 5. These will also be for one mark each. The number of very short answer questions will be 6, whose answers will have to be written by the students in one sentence. This question will be for two marks. The number of short answer questions will be 6, whose answers will have to be written in 50 words. Each question will be for three marks. There will be 4 long answer questions. Whose answer will have to be written in 100-100 words. Each question will be for 5-5 marks.
The half-yearly examination in the recognized non-government, grant-in-aid schools, and madrasas having the DICE code of the MP Board will be conducted according to the question papers and timetable prepared based on the blue print prescribed by the State Education. The question papers of the half-yearly examination for government schools will be prepared at the state level. Whereas non-government schools will prepare the question papers based on the blue print prescribed by the state.
5th and 8th Board
The board is also conducted in 5th and 8th by MP Board. Like MP, the Rajasthan Board also organizes 5th and 8th board examinations. However, the system of 5th and 8th board examinations is applicable in very few states.
