To use app, this app gives the users their own 10-digit number, through which criminals are able to communicate with their associates without revealing their mobile numbers. In this app, only the generated number is visible on the user's screen.

According to the information on the company's site, the user's number is not taken to use the app so that no one can monitor the user and users get complete protection from account hacking.

How does Zangi work?

The cyber cell official said that as soon as a message is sent in this mobile app, that message reaches the target through the app's server. As soon as the message is delivered, your secret message is automatically deleted from the app's server, which is why the message cannot be tracked. Because of this encryption, only the sender and receiver of the message can access the messages, audio and video calls.

Scammers also use it

Apart from gangsters, online scammers are also using this app on a large scale. Last year, on the recommendation of security and intelligence agencies, the central government banned 14 mobile messaging applications, including Zangi, which were allegedly being used by terrorist groups for communication.
