New Delhi: Several companies made their stock market debuts on Friday, with Mamata Machinery, DAM Capital Advisors, Transrail Lighting, Sanathan Textiles, and Concord Enviro Systems all listing at significant premiums. These stocks opened 17 per cent to 147 per cent higher than their initial public offering (IPO) prices, reflecting continued investor confidence in the primary market.
Mamata Machinery IPO ListingMamata Machinery had the best performance, listing at Rs 600, a 147 per cent premium over its IPO price of Rs 243. DAM Capital Advisors and Transrail Lighting also performed well, with both stocks opening more than 35 per cent above their IPO prices. DAM Capital Advisors IPO ListingDAM Capital Advisors, one of India’s rapidly growing investment banks, made a remarkable debut on the stock market on December 27. The shares were listed at Rs 393 on the NSE, a premium of 38.87 per cent over the issue price of Rs 283. Similarly, on the BSE, the stock opened at Rs 392.90, marking a 38.83 per cent premium. The listing met market expectations, as both grey market premiums (GMP) and expert forecasts had predicted a debut with a premium in the range of 40 per cent to 50 per cent. Transrail Lighting Limited IPO ListingTransrail Lighting Limited made an impressive debut on Dalal Street after garnering strong interest from primary market investors. The stock was listed at Rs 585.15 on the BSE and Rs 590 on the NSE, delivering a listing gain of approximately 36 per cent to those who received shares during the IPO allotment process. Concord Enviro Systems IPO ListingConcord Enviro Systems made a strong entry into the stock market on Friday, with its shares rising nearly 19 per cent above the issue price of Rs 701. The stock debuted at Rs 832 on the BSE, reflecting an 18.68 per cent premium, and later surged to Rs 849.50, marking a 21.18 per cent increase. On the NSE, the shares opened at Rs 826, up 17.83 per cent from the issue price.
