A horrific incident came to light on Wednesday-Thursday night in Dhakadkhedi village, where the husband killed his wife and her lover with a sharp weapon. The accused Ganesh Mewada was arrested by the police from a mustard field. He confessed his crime during interrogation.

Married 12 years ago
Ganesh was married to Rinki, a resident of Sheopur, 12 years ago. They had two children. But, for the last one year, Rinki was having an affair with Gaurav Hada, a resident of Kota. Gaurav had relatives in Dhakadkhedi, due to which he often visited there. Ganesh came to know about this, due to which he was under mental stress. He had made such a plan that the wife cooked food and her lover and some people came there to eat it. As per the plan, the husband reached home late at night and caught both of them red-handed and killed them.

Called on New Year and gave the gift of death
Ganesh told the police that Gaurav used to threaten him and say that Rinki loves him and will stay with him. Troubled by this threat, Ganesh called Gaurav on January 1 and called him to his house, so that he could end this dispute and party. But, he had already planned the murder.

Gaurav reached the village with three friends at night. His friends stayed outside, while Gaurav went to Ganesh's house. As soon as he entered the house, Ganesh attacked Gaurav with a sharp weapon. When Rinki tried to defend, Ganesh got angry and killed her too.

Wife and boyfriend had become corpses…
The police got information about the incident on January 2. On reaching the spot, Rinki's blood-soaked body and Gaurav in critical condition were found. Both were declared dead when taken to the hospital. Considering the seriousness of the case, the police formed a special team and started the investigation. Ganesh was arrested from a mustard field. The police have recovered the murder weapon. The case is being investigated in depth. A charge sheet will be presented against the accused soon.
