The sudden stampede on the day of Mauni Amavasya in Maha Kumbh led to chaos and many people were injured due to the panic. The administration has kept an eye on the situation and the injured have been admitted to hospitals for treatment. Meanwhile, Republic Bharat spoke to a devotee who had come to bathe on the holy date of Mauni Amavasya in Maha Kumbh. This devotee said, 'You people are currently watching the news of stampede in Maha Kumbh on TV channels and digital media, this is absolutely true. I have come here with my family. I was also a part of the crowd during the stampede in Maha Kumbh. I was also with my family at a short distance from the stampede.'

The devotee who was part of the crowd in the Maha Kumbh stampede clearly told that the organizers were not at fault in this stampede. All the devotees wanted to go to Sangam Ghat for bathing and this caused chaos. The devotee further said, 'Now I have also come safely to my ashram with my family. During this time it took me 4 hours to cover a distance of three kilometers. I do not consider the administration to be at fault in this because the administration has built Ganga Ghats all around, where you can easily bathe but the devotees who come here have to bathe only in Sangam, this is the reason why there was a stampede here. At present, the bathing of the Akharas was canceled for a while while the bathing of the devotees is going on and the whole day is still left for the bath.'

CM Yogi held a meeting on the stampede in Mahakumbh, DGP Prashant Kumar also included

Now this report will be presented to CM Yogi. On the occasion of Mauni Amavasya, a huge crowd of devotees gathered at Sangam Ghats for Amrit Snan.
