The club won the crucial match at Chase Stadium thanks to a goal from star striker Luis Suarez, an incredible volley from captain Lionel Messi, and an attack from forward Tadeo Allende, who scored Inter Miami’s first goal.

The opening leg of the Round of 16 matchup between the club and 2024 Concacaf Caribbean Cup winner Cavalier FC is scheduled for March 6 at Chase Stadium. On March 13, the second leg was subsequently played in Kingston, Jamaica’s Stadium East Field. Messi scored the game’s first goal in the 19th minute as Miami got the game underway.
