Pakistan continues to conceal the number of troops killed after Balakot

Pakistan is in denial mode over the number of terrorists killed in the Balakot airstrikes, which India commemorates on Wednesday as the sixth anniversary of the incident. Additionally, it still conceals the losses it has sustained as a result of the terror apparatus it developed and which has now progressively turned against it.

Pakistan’s false narrative that nothing significant had occurred is exposed by unreported deaths.

Pakistan is now dealing with its most severe security situation in more than ten years. In 2024, there was a rise in violence, with 444 terror incidents that claimed the lives of at least 685 security force personnel.

For Pakistan’s military and civil security services, 2024 proved to be the bloodiest year in ten years. This was disclosed in a document issued by Pakistan’s Director General of Inter Service Public Relations (DGISPR). In 2024, there were 2,546 violence-related deaths and 2,267 injuries among criminals, security forces, and civilians in Pakistan. There were 4,813 total casualties in 2024.

The 1,166 terror attacks and counterterrorism operations that resulted in these losses made for a somber year for Pakistan’s security environment.

There were almost four times as many terror attacks against citizens and security officers as there were security operations against the criminals, with 257 security operations and 909 terror assaults. However, official outlets wildly underreported the Pakistan Army’s fatality counts.

They never disclosed the true number of victims in an effort to preserve their reputation and keep their compatriots in the dark.

Pakistan still conceals the murders of its own soldiers in spite of the enormous number of victims. However, the Intel report clearly reveals Pakistan’s deceit.

According to an analysis, a record 444 terror acts in 2024 resulted in the deaths of 685 Pakistani security officers. The Pakistani government failed to record the summary of victims in at least 264 of the occurrences. Hundreds of Pakistani Army officers were slain in these attacks.

Attacks in Waziristan, Sheikhpura, Lahore, North Waziristan, Balochistan, South Waziristan, Dera Ismail Khan, Duki Balochistan, Mirah, Pakistan-Afghan border, Kashmir border, Ghazanli border, Khyber and Sialkot Sector, and other locations are killing Pakistani Army personnel.

Pakistan’s ISPR purposefully concealed the actual extent of its armed forces’ losses by underreporting military deaths. The Balakot airstrike and India’s resolute counterterrorism reaction after Pulwama contrast sharply with Pakistan’s present security chaos.

Political instability, economic collapse, a double standard on terrorism, and a lackluster military response are all blamed for Pakistan’s declining security.

India continues to uphold the Balakot Doctrine, bolstering its strong border security and counterterrorism measures in the face of Pakistan’s deteriorating security.
