Despite their ongoing separation, Kyle Richards is holding onto hope that her estranged husband, Mauricio Umansky , may return home. On the Feb. 25 episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills , the 56-year-old reality star opened up about her struggles to move on, even as Umansky, 54, explores new relationships.


During an emotional therapy session, Kyle admitted she was having a difficult time navigating their separation. “He goes and lives his life and he’s having fun, and I’ve kind of been just working,” she shared. “And I know that’s what being separated is supposed to be—taking this time to figure out everything.”


However, with her family and friends frequently questioning whether she and Umansky will finalize their divorce, Kyle confessed that the uncertainty has left her feeling “anxious” and “impatient.” “I want to know what my life’s gonna be,” she admitted, revealing her internal conflict about whether to move forward or hold onto the possibility of reconciliation .


Kyle and Mauricio, who have been married since 1996, announced their separation in July 2023 after nearly 27 years together. While both have maintained that their split was amicable, their differing approaches to the breakup have been evident—Mauricio has been seen dating, while Kyle remains focused on work and introspection.
