PM Awas Yojana Rules: It is everyone's dream to have their own house. Everyone works hard to fulfill their dream. A good amount has to be paid to buy a house. Many people save enough money to buy their house. So many people are not able to do so. People who do not have their own house. Those people are given help by the Government of India. For this, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana is being run by the Government of India.

Under which, if we talk specifically about the people, the government helps the needy people to buy a house. In the year 2015, the Government of India started the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana for this. There are many such schemes of the Central Government. Which are not currently implemented in Delhi. And for this reason, this question also comes in the minds of people. Do Delhiites get the benefit of Awas Yojana?

Even though Delhiites do not get the benefit of the Central Government's Pradhan Mantri Ayushman Yojana. But they get benefits under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. Let us tell you that benefits are given in two ways under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. One of these is the Credit Linked Subsidy Scheme (CLSS) in which subsidy is given on home loans on buying a flat or house or building a house.

The other method is In-Situ Slum Re-Development (ISSR) in which people living in sloping huts are given a permanent house by the government. In Delhi, houses under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana are provided under the Delhi Development Authority i.e. DDA project. Direct land is not given by the government.

These people get benefits.

The income slab has been fixed for benefits under the Pradhan Mantri Ayushman Yojana. If we talk about this, then under the EWS category, those whose annual income is Rs 3 lakh get the benefit. Annual income in LIG is Rs 3-6 lakh. Annual income in MIG-I (Middle Income Group-I) is Rs 6-12 lakh. MIG-II (Middle Income Group-II) benefits are given on an annual income of Rs 12-18 lakh. If someone does not have his own permanent house in Delhi or anywhere in India, then he can benefit under the housing scheme.
