Digbeth, a district in Birmingham, has been dubbed one of the UK's coolest places to live. A recent study ranking the country's hippest postcodes placed B9, Digbeth's postcode, high on the list.
described the area as ideal for 'Brummie brats', noting that what was once Birmingham's "beating industrial heart," is now a hotspot for "365 party girls (and boys)."
They added: "The vibe in this graffitied neighbourhood is converted warehouses with a clubbing culture on its doorstep - Club Colette, housed in an abandoned fried chicken shop that's tucked under Victorian railway arches, is a recent addition - alongside a host of cutting-edge galleries, such as the artist-run Eastside Projects."
"There's even a touch of glamour: the local production facilities Digbeth Loc Studios is where some of the upcoming Peaky Blinders movie, the Birmingham interwar drama starring Cillian Murphy and Barry Keoghan, was filmed."

Despite its transformation, Digbeth has stayed true to its industrial past. The former Bird's headquarters, famous for its custard, has been repurposed into the Custard Factory, now home to numerous creative businesses.
The Digbeth website describes the area as: "A growing neighbourhood of eclectic individuals and innovative businesses in Birmingham's former industrial heartland. A place with limitless potential and a fearless, inventive spirit."
Next on the list of coolest postcodes was BT56, the postcode for Northern Ireland's Portrush, with its stunning coastline and three blue-flag beaches.
The third coolest postcode is CH2 (Hoole, Chesire), which The Times praised as ideal for "yummy mummies" due to its independent spirit, trendy café scene, and a plethora of pregnancy-friendly fitness classes and studios.
Londoners might be disappointed to find only one London postcode in the top 11, with SE20, the postcode for Penge, ranking ninth. The Times labelled Penge as London's "best kept secret", dubbing it the "most desirable postcode south of the river."
