Hina Khan triumphs over chemotherapy, begins immunotherapy

Indian actress of Kashmiri descent Hina Khan has updated her fans on her health, where she shared that her cancer chemotherapy is over.

As Times of India has reported, recently Hina Khan was at an event where she spoke openly on several issues.

At the ceremony of awards, she received an award and even became the topic of discussion due to her special fashion sense.

Talking to the media after the award ceremony, Hina Khan gave an update on her sickness.

When questioned about her health, the actress explained that all her chemotherapy sessions have been done, and she is currently undergoing another type of treatment.

As per Hina Khan, after undergoing chemotherapy, she is now undergoing immunotherapy, and so far, everything is fine.

She said that after completing chemotherapy, she is now enjoying the immunotherapy treatment.

Hina Khan also said that her surgery is over and that she has passed through all the tough phases of treatment.

Earlier, in a number of interviews, Hina Khan had disclosed that after being diagnosed with cancer, she had undergone a 15-hour-long surgery for the first time, followed by chemotherapy sessions.

She told that because of the long operation, her whole family was very tense, but noticing their tension, she mustered the strength to remain strong.

In June 2024, Hina Khan announced in a social media post that she had been diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer.

She went on with her treatment, and in September, she even strutted the ramp during her treatment.

During her cancer treatment, Hina Khan was active in different events, award ceremonies, and philanthropic programs, winning respect for her courage.

She has now revealed that her surgery and chemotherapy have been done, and she is now on immunotherapy.

Immunotherapy is a therapy that makes the immune system stronger. It is usually applied to cancer patients, but people with other immune- vulnerabilities can also be treated with this therapy.
