When Panki police investigated, it was found that the theft was committed by none other than the businessman's son. The businessman told the police that about 6 months ago his son came in contact with some boys in the neighborhood. He started taking drugs due to falling into bad company. The locks of the rooms and cupboards were broken. Jewellery worth 80 lakhs and cash worth 21 lakhs kept in the cupboards were also missing. When we inquired from the neighbours, we learned that the son had come home with his friends.
