CBSE 2026 Draft Exam Date Sheet: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued the 2025-26 board exam draft date sheet for the Class 10, 12 board exams. The CBSE Class 10, 12 Board Exams in 2026 will commence on the first Tuesday after February 15, 2026, with the Class 10 examinations starting from February 17, 2026.For Class 10, nearly 26.60 lakh students are to appear, and core subjects like Mathematics, Science, Social Science, Hindi, and English have been kept for specific dates. The other subjects will be carried out in more than one phase. Class 12 exams, involving almost 20 lakh students, will be held in phases. The examinations will be divided into minor and major subjects, where the minor subjects will be taken separately and major subjects will be assigned on fixed dates.Meanwhile, the board approved draft guidelines for holding Class 10 board exams twice a year from 2026. As per the officials, the same exam centre will be provided to students in both phases. The first phase of exams will be held in February, and the second phase will be held in May, as proposed.These draft norms will be put on public display for comments, and stakeholders are encouraged to provide comments by March 9.
