The reason for this is that Wowcher is a marketplace, and orders are fulfilled by individual vendors. “The other thing is, when you buy a few items, you have to pay postage for each individual item which then ends up costing a fortune,” said one affected customer.

Despite it being a near-universal practice across online retail, others have complained that postage isn’t included in the products’ price: “Price initially quoted does not include postage. After having paid for the item, we then have to pay separately for the postage.”
