Alperen Sengun’s clutch play helps Rockets overcome 25-point deficit in OT win

Alperen Sengun’s crucial tip-in sent the game to overtime, where the Houston Rockets secured a 144-137 victory against the Philadelphia 76ers.

Overcoming a 25-point deficit, Houston claimed its 44th win of the season, maintaining second place in the Western Conference.

Sengun played 22 minutes, delivering a double-double with 13 points, 11 rebounds, and five assists. Fellow Turkish player Adem Bona was unavailable due to injury.

For the Rockets, Jalen Green starred with 30 points and 13 assists, while Jabari Smith Jr. also contributed 30 points. Dillon Brooks added 25 points and six rebounds, with Tari Eason scoring 21 points and grabbing eight rebounds.

Philadelphia’s Quentin Grimes led all scorers with 46 points and 13 rebounds. Jared Butler recorded 21 points and 5 assists, while Justin Edwards added 18 points. Despite their strong performances, the 76ers could not avoid their 45th loss of the season.
