New Delhi: Actress Athiya Shetty and cricketer KL Rahul are now parents! The couple welcomed their baby girl on March 24, 2025. After their annoucement, the comment section was immediately flooded with well wishes, congratulating the couple for a new chapter in their lives.
The couple took to Instagram to share a joint post to announce the big news that reads, “Blessed with a babygirl.” Despite joining his IPL team, Delhi Capitals’ camp ahead of the IPL 2025, Rahul had to leave the camp ahead of the side’s season opener against Lucknow Super Giants due to the birth of his child.

The couple announced their pregnancy in November 2025 along with a short note, showing enthusiasm to welcome their child into the world.
For those who are unaware, KL Rahul met Athiya Shetty through a mutual friend and ended up instantly connecting in January 2019. After four years of dating the couple tied the knot in 2023 at Suniel Shetty’s farmhouse in Khandala in the presence of close family and friends.
It was only a few weeks ago that Athiya Shetyy dropped a series of gorgeous maternity photoshoot pictures.
