10 April - Mahavir Jayanti will be celebrated in the country on this day. On April 10, all private and government banks will remain closed in states like Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Gujarat, Maharashtra, and Telangana.
14 April - Ambedkar Jayanti is celebrated on April 14. Banks in states like Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Chhattisgarh, New Delhi, Madhya Pradesh, Chandigarh, Mizoram, Meghalaya, and Himachal Pradesh will remain closed on this day.
Vishu will be celebrated in Kerala, New Year in Tamil Nadu, Poila Boishakh in Bengal, and Bihu festival in Assam. Due to this banks are going to remain closed here too.
Bihu New Year will be celebrated in Bengal on 15th April. Due to this private and government banks of Assam, West Bengal, Arunachal Pradesh, and Himachal Pradesh states are going to remain closed.
On the other hand, on the occasion of Garia Puja on 21st April, banks will remain closed in Tripura. Along with this, on the occasion of Parashuram Jayanti on 29th April, all the banks of Himachal Pradesh are going to remain closed.
Apart from this, banks will remain closed in Karnataka on the occasion of Basava Jayanti on 30th April.
