SSC CGL 2024: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has sought options and preferences from the candidates of the postal circles selected for appointment to Inspector posts through the CGL 2024 recruitment process. The commission has recommended 66 candidates for appointment based on the SSC CGL Result 2024.

Candidates have to send a self-attested copy of their identity along with the option form through email to adspn.dop@gmail.com, with CGLE IP 2024 followed by as the subject. Apart from this, candidates have to send their hardcopy through speed post by 5 pm on April 5, 2025.

What will happen if this is not done?
The commission has said that if the above process is not completed within the stipulated period, it will be considered that the candidate has no preference for the postal circle and he will be allotted the postal circle as per the criteria of allocation.

The commission will follow these criteria for allocation.

Out of the 23 postal circles, the recommended candidates will be allotted a post for appointment as Inspector post based on the following criteria:

The candidate will be allotted a postal circle based on his/her merit or rank, preference order (choice), and the vacancy available on his/her turn.

Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD) will be allotted a postal circle first, irrespective of their rank. This will be subject to the availability of vacancies in the order of preference of postal circles submitted by them.

After the allocation of circles to PWD candidates, the remaining candidates will be allotted postal circles in the manner mentioned above.

How will those who do not submit preferences be allotted?

All such candidates, who do not give any preference order or who have not been allotted to any postal circle mentioned in their limited preference, will be allotted circles randomly based on availability of vacancy, after allocating circles to all other candidates.
