Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology (MANIT) students complained of fever, diarrhoea, and vomiting, according to Umesh Sharda, the hospital’s owner, who spoke to the media report. A party was held in the hostel, where the 19 students had eaten.

“Everyone complained of fever, diarrhoea, and vomiting. There were around 19 youngsters there, and they were all afflicted with the same illness. An incidence of food poisoning seems to be the cause. “The food they ate at their college caused this because there was a party there,” Sharda told the media report on Sunday.

According to the hospital’s owner, the pupils’ health has improved and they were released after therapy.

Speaking to the media report, one of the admitted pupils said that they had become unwell on Friday afternoon, exhibiting symptoms of vomiting and stomach discomfort. Bharadwaj Yug

“Last night, we had rice, these pulses, and other foods. They made potato curry and lentil rice. The children’s health began to deteriorate yesterday afternoon after they ate it. Yug Bharadwaj, a student, told the media report, “I also had terrible stomach pain, and people were getting fevers and vomiting.”

He said that just one hospital administrator visited to see how they were doing, but he insisted that more be done to prevent the error from happening again.

“I demand that such a serious mistake does not happen again…but for now no one has talked to us; just yesterday a person from the hostel came, and only friends have come in,” he said.

About 285 students reside in the dormitory where the event happened, according to the pupils.

According to Siddharth Dohre, another student, this was the first instance of food poisoning that has occurred in the hostel.

“This is the first time it has occurred. I have not yet voiced any complaints over the poor quality of the meal, but I insist that it be raised. He informed the media report, “The meal is not prepared with adequate cleanliness.

“I study at MANIT; I am studying BTech, and I had eaten Aloo Paratha on Saturday morning,” he added, adding that the aloo parantha that was supplied in the dormitory may have been the source of his illness. That is what caused this to occur. Every youngster resides in the hostel. Numerous patients have been hospitalised, while others were not, yet they had nausea and vomiting.
