On Tuesday, the state’s medical college hospitals, district hospitals, subdivisional hospitals, and other healthcare institutions received extensive posting and transfer orders for physicians from the Health Department. In Kishanganj, Nawada, and Shivhar, new civil surgeons have been hired.

The official announcement states that Dr. Rajkumar Chaudhary, who was formerly an Associate Professor of ENT at ANMCH, Gaya, has been named Kishanganj’s Civil Surgeon. Former JLNMCH, Bhagalpur Associate Professor of Pathology Dr. Deepak Kumar is now Shivhar’s Civil Surgeon. As the Civil Surgeon of Nawada, Dr. Vinod Kumar Chaudhary, formerly the General Medical Officer of Jehanabad, has also been posted.

Additionally, a number of institutions have posted new superintendents. While Dr. Amit Kumar Jha has assumed leadership as the Superintendent of Darbhanga Medical College Hospital, Dr. Yogendra Prasad Mandal has been named the Superintendent of Guru Gobind Singh Hospital in Patna.

Notifications on the appointment of Additional Directors, Health, and Regional Additional Directors have also been made public by the department. Notably, 269 posts for the roles of tutor, junior resident, and senior resident have received the most postings. A total of 360 physicians have been given new posts, and all have received orders to join right away.
